Biography

Mr. Boudewijn Korten is Senior Manager Business Development for Intertrust Switzerland. He is a company lawyer and expert in the trust & corporate services industry. Mr. Korten focuses on Intertrust’s corporate multinational and private equity clients. His clients include U.S. based Fortune Global 500 companies and Private Equity International 300 firms.

Boudewijn has built a significant track record in the coordination and management of M&A projects and global carve-out transactions. He regularly functions as the interface between his clients, their lead counsels, and various Intertrust offices. He works closely together with general counsels, CFOs, chief compliance officers, and COOs of alternative investment fund managers to assist them with the efficient setup, management and administration of their domestic and cross-border Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), the formation and administration of fund vehicles, and dealing with investor due diligence.

Mr. Korten has extensive experience in coordinating complex global carve out transactions, working closely with private equity fund managers and their legal and tax advisors on the setup of their global acquisition structure. Typical corporate services provided by Intertrust includes the assistance with expedited opening of bank accounts, provision of local directors, registered address, legal and financial administration, M&A related escrow services etc.) He was closely involved and jointly responsible for the expansion of Intertrust’s business operations in the New York, South East and Midwest regions of the USA, by coordinating the opening of representative offices in Atlanta (2015) and Chicago (2016).

He is fluent in Dutch and English, and has a basic proficiency of German and French. Boudewijn is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam in Corporate and Business Law.
