Global Food & Health Aid:

Sustainable Packaging Innovation

Vivia Foundation is working on programs for humanitarian food and health. We are studying how goods can be more effectively distributed with improved social, nutrition, safety and health impacts, to meet the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Specifically, Vivia Foundation contributes innovative technologies for product packaging solutions to aid in the improved distribution and uses of ready-to-eat nutritious food, beverages, health aids, sanitation supplies and emergency relief supplies for floods, droughts, tsunami’s, earthquakes, hurricanes, refugee support, military uses, health outbreaks, etc.

Solutions are designed to make products more accessible for people of all ages for the purpose of humanitarian need. Various innovative solutions are being developed to maintain safety, durability, and product preservation. Packages are accessible for easy-to-open, portion control, recyclable, using bio-based materials, thus reducing product waste, packaging waste, bulk, weight and distribution costs for humanitarian relief efforts.

This is a global partners program, open to foundations, corporations, NGO’s, global agencies and CSR initiatives to participate in the development, testing and distribution efforts. Vivia Foundations seeks interested parties who would like to supply innovative products and packaging solutions to be developed and adopted for humanitarian food and health relief programs.
